History
TWGHs May Lodge, being a contract home with day care service for the elderly of which the operation was obtained through successful bidding and also third of its kind under the auspice of TWGHs, commenced its operation in November 2014.
Objective
The Home is committed to providing quality service in personal care, nursing care and accommodation for the elderly who are in poor health and limited self-care ability. With the provision of professional services, diversified social activities and adequate facilities in a holistic care approach, the elderly are leading a meaningful and dignified life in a cozy and homely environment.
Facilities
The Home has a total of 100 capacity including 60 subsidised and 40 non-subsidised places. Besides, the Home provides 30 subsidised day care places and 4 obligatory day respite care places. Each dormitory bedroom can accommodate 2 to 8 residents in a shared room with a self-contained washroom and bathroom.
Other facilities include Sitting Area, Dining Rooms, Rehabilitation Room, Sensory Training Room, Group Activity/ Counselling Room, Reminiscence Corner and Carer Resource Corner.

- Elders aged 65 or above(Those aged between 60-64 with proven needs can also apply for admission);
- Lack of self-care ability due to poor health or illness;
- Free from contagious disease;
- Mentally suitable for communal living.
