History
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals commenced the small group home service since 1993. The 14 small group homes located at Chai Wan, Yau Tong and Tsz Wan Shan respectively providing residential placements to children who lack appropriate family care. The service mission is to protect and advocate children welfare, and to provide them with holistic care and quality counseling service.

Facilities
Every child in our homes will have their own bed, clothing cabinet, desk and a drawer with lock. Our homes provide age appropriate books, toys and computer for children's learning. Besides, multi-purpose room has been set up to render different counseling or treatment for children in need.

Children who are in need of temporary care away from homes due to various family problems and crises, such as single parenthood, chronic illness of the carers, imprisonment, family breakdown, being abused, neglected or abandoned
