The B.E.S.T. Teen Program is a multi-addiction prevention program targeted at Primary 5 and 6 students in Hong Kong with the aim of enhancing students’ Behavioral, Emotional, Social, and Thinking (i.e., cognitive) competencies, hence B.E.S.T.
There are two objectives for this project: to develop and deliver a localized multi-addiction prevention education curriculum for primary school students in Hong Kong; and to evaluate the effectiveness of the Program.
Multiple evaluation strategies were adopted in the present study including objective outcome evaluation, subjective outcome evaluation, and qualitative evaluation based on focus group interviews. |
